👋 About Me

The Teacher Behind Reboot the Classroom

Hi, I'm Rachel— a passionate educator, lifelong learner, and proud classroom tech nerd.

I've been teaching High School English for 3 years, and over that time, one thing has become crystal clear: when used purposefully, technology can transform teaching and learning.

But let’s be real — tech integration can also be overwhelming. With new tools popping up constantly, it's tough to know what actually works in a real, busy classroom. That’s where this blog comes in.

💻 Why I Started Reboot the Classroom

I created this space to share practical, teacher-tested strategies for integrating technology in ways that:

  • Engage students without adding stress

  • Support learning goals (not just look flashy)

  • Save time while enhancing creativity

  • Work in real classrooms with real constraints

This isn’t about using tech for the sake of tech — it’s about finding tools that make a difference.

🎓 My Teaching Philosophy

At the heart of my teaching is a belief that students learn best when they're active, curious, and empowered — and the right tech tools can help make that happen. Whether it's collaborative platforms, multimedia projects, or AI-assisted writing tools, I’m always exploring new ways to bring learning to life.

✨ A Few Fun Facts

  • My favorite tech tool right now is: Magic School AI

  • Outside of teaching, I love: coffee, baking, and spending time with myThanks for stopping by — and welcome to the reboot!
